“Sing and make music
in your heart to the Lord”

Eph 5:19

“I invite you into the journey as each song and artistic piece unfolds”

Singing the Word began when I became a stay-at-home mom of 3, and I joined a Bible study that encouraged scripture memorization. But following sleepless nights with little ones, my tired mind found it difficult to retain what I read.
Until something amazing began to happen! As I posted verses around my kitchen, God would knit them to music in my heart. I was extremely grateful that He would assist my memorization of His Word in this way!

Now that my kids are teens, I cling to His Word as my anchor and guide as I navigate unfamiliar seasons. When I don’t know what to pray or say, when my kids go through difficulties, He gives me His Word. I sing it over my family as I fold laundry and pray for them, while at the kitchen sink, driving to the store or to pick my kids up from their after-school activities.

Music is an effective memorization tool for everything from the ABC’s to the Periodic Table. When it carries the Word of God, it carries His healing presence (See Psalm 107:20).  I enjoy His companionship as I read His Word, He sets it to rhythm and melody, and I sing it back to Him. I guess you could say music is our heart language. It’s the way He speaks to me most. I love how Zeph 3:17 says He sings over us!

I am also a nature lover and a visual artist. Sometimes I’ll paint a scene for a song’s cover-art or find photography that helps express the message of each song.

I invite you into the journey as each song and artistic piece unfolds. I pray He will speak to you and you will experience His presence through His Word in ways that are uniquely personal to you. The Lord knows what each of our hearts needs in knowing Him! Music is one of the tools He uses to write His Word onto our hearts.
God bless and guide you on your journey of discovery in knowing Him, through knowing His Word!
